Little Muse Model Calls are created when I introduce new props, outfits, sets, or artistic ideas to the studio. Selected newborns and milestone babies help bring theses concepts to life while receiving beautiful portraits at special model-call pricing.

The Photoshoot Process
1. Apply
Submit the Little Muse Model Call application with your baby’s age, size, milestone, and availability.
2. Select
If your baby is selected, you will receive a private booking link.
A $100 non-refundable booking fee is required
to reserve
the session.
3. Create
I will choose all props, outfits, colors, sets, and styling for the session.
Just bring your baby and leave the creativity to me.
4. Choose
You will receive a finished preview gallery with
my logo.
You will have
24 hours to choose which image package you would like to purchase.
5. Enjoy
Once payment is received, your selected gallery will be delivered in high resolution without my logo.

Little Muse Model Calls are discounted creative sessions designed to help me showcase new props, handmade outfits, seasonal sets, and artistic concepts while expanding my portfolio. Selected families receive special pricing in exchange for signing a model release.
How are families selected?
Applications are carefully reviewed based on your baby’s age, milestone, availability, and how well they fit the current creative concept. Because each setup is unique, not every application will be selected.
Is everyone who applies guaranteed a session?
No. A model call is an application, not a booking. If your baby is selected, you’ll receive a private booking link to reserve your session.
Why is a model release required?
These sessions are created specifically to help showcase my work. A signed model release allows me to display images on my website, social media, studio samples, and marketing materials. If you’re uncomfortable with your images being shared publicly, a regular session would be the better option.
Is the booking fee refundable?
No. A $100 non-refundable booking fee is required to reserve your session. The fee is applied toward the image package you choose after viewing your gallery.
Why is a newborn session more expensive than a milestone?
Newborn sessions require significantly more time, patience, and preparation. They are carefully planned around your baby’s comfort, with extra time for feeding, soothing, wrapping, and posing. Each newborn portrait is individually handcrafted and professionally edited to create timeless heirloom artwork.
Who chooses the styling?
I do! That’s part of the fun of a Little Muse Model Call. I’ll select the props, outfits, colors, and overall artistic design. Parents simply bring their baby and enjoy the experience.
Can I request a specific setup or outfit?
No. Model Calls are photographer-directed sessions, allowing me complete creative freedom to bring new ideas to life.
Can parents or siblings participate?
These sessions are designed for baby only, unless the application specifically states otherwise.
How do I choose my images?
After your session, you’ll receive a finished preview gallery with my studio logo. You’ll have 24 hours to choose the image package you’d like to purchase.
When will I receive my final images?
Once your package has been selected and payment has been received, your professionally edited high-resolution gallery without my logo will be delivered within 48 hours.
How often do you offer Little Muse Model Calls?
Whenever I introduce new props, outfits, seasonal themes, or artistic concepts to the studio. Every Model Call is unique, so no two sessions are exactly alike.
How long does a Little Muse Model Call session last?
Newborn sessions typically last up to 2 hours to allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and posing at your baby’s pace.
Milestone sessions (3–12 months) usually last 45–60 minutes, depending on your baby’s mood and the number of setups included.
What if my baby becomes fussy during the session?
No worries! Babies set the pace. I allow time for feeding, cuddles, and comforting to create a relaxed experience. The goal is beautiful, natural portraits—not rushing your little one.
Can I apply while I’m pregnant?
Please apply after your baby is born. Model Call availability is based on openings around my regularly scheduled newborn sessions.
When will I receive my images?

Can I choose the props and sets?
No. The styling is selected by me to match the creative vision for the session. You may share your favorite colors and themes in the application, and I’ll keep them in mind when choosing your baby’s outfits, props, and sets.
Can I purchase individual images?
No. You will choose from one of three image packages: Basic, Premium, or Luxury. Individual images are not available for purchase. The Luxury Package includes all professionally edited images from your session.

What happens after I submit my application?
You’ll receive a confirmation that your application was received. If your baby is selected, I’ll contact you with a private booking link, session details, and instructions to reserve your Little Muse Model Call. Because each concept has limited availability, only selected applicants will be contacted.
Will my session look exactly like the sample photos?
Each Little Muse Model Call is individually styled. While the overall theme may be similar, every session is unique, making your baby’s portraits one of a kind.
